The cells of our body communicate with each other by releasing chemical signals. My research focuses on how these signals are synthesized, packed and delivered with spatial and temporal precision. During my PhD in Neurosciences at the Georg-August University (Göttingen, Germany), I characterized the endocytic pathways involved in synaptic vesicle recycling in neuronal and sensory synapses. For my postdoctoral stage, I am studying how cytokines are locally released at the immunological synapse of dendritic cells.
